Jyka's team is very professional. On time sila dumating both sa prenup and wedding day namin. She will ask you anong peg mo pero dahil alam kong mas alam nya kung anong babagay sakin, hinayaan ko lang sha mag decide sa look na gagawin nya sakin. Sa prenup I asked for soft glam peg and sa wedding day ko I asked for glowy and bright look na.

Pinaka concern ko is monolid ako at the same time ayoko sana gumamit ng eyelid tape since yun ang request ni hubby. Ang galing ng magic hands ni Jyka, talagang napalaki nya ang eyes ko na sobrang chinita. Yung make up ko parang barely there and ang glowy ko lang. With a short prep time for my small wedding back home, I got Jyka for the reason that she has a fresh approach when I saw her profile, but there was one picture amongst all her works that caught my eye & I wanted that. The natural & fresh-look is a hype now in Philippines & I wanted something a little different. She understood that I wanted more than the natural & fresh look, I wanted eyes to stand-out & with a snap of a finger, she was already doing it, she is flexible to the client’s wants/wishes. Also, they have done my mum & my aunt, I have never seen my mum with full eyebrows and lashes & she looked phenomenal. My aunt is from Morocco & she enhanced all her exotic features. Jyka is one of my favorite suppliers for my wedding. I wanted to look fresh and natural, and to have my features highlighted - and she did that and more. I also lacked sleep the night before my wedding, but she made me look like I had 12 hours of sleep.

On top of accomplishing the look that I wanted, Jyka exudes the perfect balance of friendly and professional. I enjoyed my wedding preps a lot because she and Sherwin were so easy-going and fun to be around with, even if it was just my first time meeting them in person. Kahit civil wedding ang plano namin, gusto ko maganda ang makeup ko. Kaya naghanap talaga ako ng makeup artist na hindi ako bibiguin. Wala pa nga kaming sked ng kasal, nakita ko na ang page ni Jyka at nakabookmark na siya sa akin. Naghahanap pa rin ako ng iba, pero sa kanya ako lagi bumabalik. More than six months ang period ng pagdedesisyon!

Fast-forward sa wedding day, pinakaimportante sa akin syempre ang reaction ni groom, kaya nung mag-wow siya pagkakita sa akin, buo na agad ang araw ko. Minsan lang ang ganitong okasyon, kaya kailangan nakikita at nararamdaman nating maganda tayo.

Jyka was my first choice to do my makeup on my wedding day and I was right! She did an amazing job. First, she was very professional. She arrived on time and proceeded immediately to setup her work table. Second, she used high end makeup brands and malinis ang workstation and tools! One of the important decisions a bride need to decide for her wedding is picking the right MUA. Everybody will be looking at you and you wanna look good not only for your man but for the photos and videos! I allotted a lot of time looking for my MUA. It was hard as I live overseas, I didn’t know any great MUA in the Philippines. I then found Jyka’s instagram page, since then I keep going back looking at her portfolio. I was impressed with her work; simple, natural and classy. Just what I was looking for. I then contacted Jyka, she was prompt with her replies and so kind. This is important especially if you cannot meet each other in person.

I didn’t need to explain too much, she knew instantly the look I wanted to achieve. But on the day of wedding, she surpassed my expectations. Even though that was the first time we met, I felt comfortable with her straight away. The make up products, brushes and equipments she used are high quality and clean. For my last prom, I wanted to have this natural and elegant look. After looking at her works as a makeup artist, I saw how she enhanced the great features of her clients in order to bring out the beauty they already had. With this, I decided that her work was exactly what I wanted!

Her team was very professional and friendly at the same time! HAHA, my friend and I definitely enjoyed the chikas we had while having our hair and makeup done.

Jyka and her team are the best! She has the lightest hand when she does her work, and she communicates well so she can actually express what you want exceptionally. Her work is flawless and she makes sure of that. And ofcourse, she didn't disappoint with her choice in her team, loved my hair and how it complimented my face and make up. One of my non-negotiables during my wedding was to hire the perfect HMUA. It was very important for me to have the perfect bridal look and to look my very best on my special day. As I was researching for a supplier, I came across Jyka’s portfolio and was easily convinced that she’s the one for me, and YES! She did not disappoint! She even exceeded my expectations! Jyka and her team were very professional. Arrived on time, used professional and quality products - I even thought to myself “Wow! Ang bango ng brushes niya!”. I believe I wouldn’t be able to achieve the picture-perfect moments during my wedding if not for her.

Went last July for graduation and I'm glad I found her. In summary, here are the things that I really found great about Jyka's services:
1. She replies fast during inquiries.
2. She's easy to talk to and seamless transaction because she has an extensive portfolio and very upfront with pricing (very convenient because other artists shy away from talking about cost + usually they reply slow).
3. Showed her make up inspo and she tweaked it well enough to suit my features (she made all my "stress marks" disappear haha).
4. She really took her time to prep my skin (which, trust me, will make a lot of difference).
5. Her make up didn't crack or turned cakey even though I had to run in high heels for last minute wardrobe emergencies.
6. My hair was done by Ms. Jessa - also A M A Z I N G (I have a fine hair and keeping it wavy or curled is close impossible but they managed to keep my hair wavy until the end of the day!).
7. Her tools are well-kept and cleaned.

Overall, she's a very professional and accommodating artist.
